(Norderstedt, 09.12.2021) Following the KfW 440 funding for private charging stations, charging stations in the company environment have also been funded since November 23. Under the 441 funding program, KfW subsidizes new charging stations for electric cars in areas of municipalities and companies that are not accessible to the public.
The subsidy amounts to 70 percent of the total eligible costs - acquisition, connection and installation - but is limited to a maximum of 900 euros per charging point. Private and municipal companies, freelancers and non-profit organizations are eligible to apply.
Only non-public charging stations with a charging capacity of up to 22 kW that have an intelligent control system and are powered by 100% renewable energy are eligible for funding. Entratek GmbH from Norderstedt have expanded their product portfolio with further eligible wallbox variants in this course. These include the Power Dot PRO 2 variants, the Power Dot FIX and the Power Arrow DUAL. These are available at a particularly attractive price.
The new charging stations from Entratek meet the requirements of KfW Bank and are therefore fully eligible for subsidies.
It is not the first eligible charging stations of the provider from Norderstedt: Already with the KfW 440 funding, the devices of the series Power Dot ECO as well as Power Dot PRO -versions are listed. These wallboxes have a charging point with 11 or 22 kW charging power.
The new Power Dot and Power Arrow models also provide companies and municipalities with further options for their individual charging concept: Depending on their needs, customers can choose a charging station with two charging points or communication via Ethernet or 4G.
Compared to the first generation, the Power Dot PRO 2 wallbox supports the TLS 1.2 encryption protocol when communicating with an IT backend. This ensures that the IT security requirement is met. All functions remain intact - from integrated RFID access protection to intelligent app control. Users' charging consumption can not only be read in the app, but also exported as a PDF - which makes cost accounting much easier.
The Power Dot FIX is a smart charging station with extensive safety features. Equipped with integrated DC fault current protection, it also leaves nothing to be desired in terms of operation and connectivity. The wallbox with up to 22 kW charging power displays operating data and charging status via the 2.8-inch LCD screen. The Power Dot FIX can be conveniently operated and controlled via an Android/iOS app. The wallboxes communicate via WLAN, Ethernet and 4G, which offers a decisive advantage for locations without a WLAN network.
The Power Arrow DUAL is particularly suitable for company parking spaces. The charging station with two charging points with up to 22 kW charging power is equipped with extensive protective devices. The integration of two type B residual current circuit breakers, miniature circuit breakers as well as surge protection devices into the device enables simplified and cost-reduced pre-installation. Users of company cars can easily bill the charged energy to the company thanks to the MID energy meter integrated into the Power Arrow DUAL. Other highlights of the charging station include a 7-inch LCD display with current charging information and various functions for smart charging. Networking with external energy management systems is possible via the Modbus TCP communication protocol.
The Power Dot FIX and the Power Arrow DUAL are compatible with each other. Together, with their local load management functions, they form the core of an intelligent charging infrastructure for electric fleets. The static load management is based on the master/slave principle and ensures reliable operation even in the event of an Internet failure. With the help of the additional load management hub, dynamic load management and photovoltaic surplus charging can be implemented for up to 16 charging stations.
The three models are based on each other. The Power Dot PRO 2 is the entry-level variant for simple, intelligent charging with app control. The Power Dot FIX offers more flexible application options and local load management. With the Power Arrow DUAL, MID-certified, intelligently controlled charging as well as realization of holistic e-mobility solutions is possible. All three models can be operated quickly and intuitively. They can also be connected to external backend systems via the OCPP communication interface. This makes them ideal for charging on company premises as well as for commercial fleets.
