The new DC wallbox "Power Capsule" from Entratek complements the Power ABC series with a maximum charging capacity of 30kW and represents a future-oriented solution in urban areas.

At the moment, AC charging stations are increasingly being set up in inner-city areas, with which a large number of vehicles on the market only charge slowly. In densely populated urban areas, where time and space are often in short supply, electromobility can be profitable if solutions are developed for precisely these challenges.
The latest charging concept from Entratek meets exactly this requirement. The DC charging wall box Power Capsule is the "C" of the Power ABC series by Entratek. With a charging power of 30kW, it charges batteries quickly, is compact and enables vehicles of all sizes to be charged quickly. Regardless of whether it is the latest or future generation of a private car, bus or truck. As a result, both drivers and charging station operators will benefit from the highest level of convenience and the maximum utilization accordingly.
For example, to achieve a range of 300km, charging a Tesla Model 3 with the DC Wallbox Power Capsule takes 92 minutes according to our own calculation, i.e. 283% faster than charging with a single-phase AC Wallbox. For the end customers, this results in a time saving of 261 minutes. In addition, the charging time of 92 minutes roughly corresponds to the time customers spend on average when visiting urban areas, such as supermarkets, theaters, restaurants and shopping centers.
Thanks to its innovative design, the Power Capsule can either be easily installed on the wall or alternatively on a pillar by two installers within 30 minutes. This created a quick and compact solution that is perfect for tight cities.
The Power Capsule 30kW is compatible with all charging standards on the market, including CCS and CHAdeMO, and is available in both connector versions. Thanks to scalability, charging voltages of up to 1000 V and the modular design, the investment is also future-proof. The DC Wallbox can be configured in many ways and can, among other things, be equipped with a tailor-made payment module with credit cards. In addition, the 10.1 ’’ inch touchscreen provides price information and ensures intuitive operation.
With remote access for improved service during operation and its backend compatibility with most of the backend systems available on the market, Entrateks Power Capsule is proved to be the ideal solution for operators of charging stations.
