The Entratek GmbH from Norderstedt had from 4th to 5th February successfully participated in the VDV electric bus conference in Berlin, and presented itself with its own stand at the “ElekBu” trade fair, which took place alongside the conference.
Around 700 participants found out about the current state of technology during the two-day event and discussed challenges and concepts for the introduction of electric buses in public transport at the accompanying conference.

At the accompanying trade fair "ElekBu" - which is Europe's largest trade fair that specializes solely in electric buses, Entratek GmbH and SSE presented the latest multigrid container charging solution for charging e-buses. The concept includes a container charging solution with energy storage, MV switchgear and medium-voltage transformer station, which can be modularly adapted to customer requirements and handed over to the customer as a turnkey solution. The Multigrid charging container is an open charging concept in the form of a turnkey, accessible container station, individually equipped with DC inverter power modules, in power classes from 300 kW - 450 kW - 900 kW or 1080 kW total output. The energy is transferred to the electric buses through the charging stations which are distributed by 180kW power each.
With this concept, the depot charging of e-buses can be implemented in a highly integrated, maintenance-friendly and future-oriented manner. In addition to load management, sector coupling synergies between renewable energies and transport are created, which lead to fewer CO2 emissions in the long term.
